A court in Ludhiana district of Punjab has given a big verdict in the rape and murder case of a four -year -old girl. The court sentenced the accused UP resident Sonu to death. This decision was pronounced by Additional Sessions Judge Fast Track Amarjeet Singh of Ludhiana Poxo Court. In the absence of evidence, the court sentenced Sonu, a resident of Fatehpur district, to death in the rape case. The post -mortem revealed that Sonu strangled the girl to death. There was also bleeding from his genitals. The body of the girl was found in a box under the bed.
Let us tell you that a year ago, the body of a four -year -old girl was found in a bed box kept in a house at night. A young man resident of Daba police station area took the girl to the room of the accused Sonu on some excuse. When the girl was not found till two in the afternoon, her search was started. According to the information received, accused Sonu raped the girl first. Then he killed him.
Giving information about this, advocate Rajesh Mehra said that the case is of 2023. The accused named Sonu raped and murdered her. He said that the accused in this case has been sentenced to death.
The accused lived with his brother.
In December 2023, Sonu came to live with his brother Ashok. Sonu’s brother used to illegally fill gas cylinders in this area. Sonu took the girl from her grandmother’s tea shop on the pretext of buying something. After this, no clue of the girl was found.
CCTV camera told the truth
When the girl did not return home by noon, the family started searching for her in the surrounding areas. After this, the police was informed. When the police checked the CCTV cameras installed in the area, Sonu, who lives there, was seen holding the girl’s hand and taking it to the room. When the police and family reached Sonu’s room, the body of the girl was found lying in the bed box.
