UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Exam: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services Prelims Exam tomorrow i.e. on June 16. Candidates appearing for the exam can check the guidelines through the official website of the commission upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. After downloading the UPSC CSE 2024 Admit Card, candidates are advised to read all the details mentioned carefully.
The UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2024 was earlier scheduled to be held on May 26, but was then rescheduled for June 16. The decision to revise the revised time table was taken after the Election Commission announced the schedule for the elections to the 18th Lok Sabha in April-June 2024.
Exam Guidelines
Candidates can ensure that all the details like name, photo and QR code on their e-admit card are correct. In case of any discrepancy, they can contact UPSC in this regard.
Before entering the examination centre, ensure that you bring the e-Admit Card (printout) along with (original) photo identity card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for each session.
Candidates should note that any omission/mistake/discrepancy in filling up the details in the OMR Answer Sheet, especially with regard to Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code will render the answer sheet liable to be rejected.
Please note that entry to the exam centre will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the exam. No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre after the entry is closed.
There will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers given by the candidate in both the question papers of the examination.
Answers other than those marked with black ballpoint pen will not be evaluated.
A candidate whose photo on the e-Admit Card is not clear or does not have his/her name and date of the photo, will be required to bring two passport size photographs (carrying his/her name and date of the photo) along with a photo identity card for appearing in the examination along with an undertaking for each session.
