UPSC students' anger is not without reason! Apart from the death of 3 people, there is also a girl as the reason

New Delhi. The case of the death of three students is dominating the Rao IAS study circle. The anger of these students is not only due to the three students who died. There is another girl student who took her own life last week. The reason for the girl’s suicide was not only her own problem, but most of the people living here are troubled by that problem. This problem is also included in the demands of the protesting students. Overall, apart from the death of three students, this problem is also the reason for the anger of these UPSC aspirants.

Actually, many areas of the capital Delhi are known for UPSC coaching. One of these is Karol Bagh. Around 50 thousand students live on rent in this area. A big problem here is the rent being constantly increased by the landlords and brokers. The students allege that the landlords increase the rent at their will and threaten to vacate the house immediately if the rent is not increased. A student troubled by this problem has committed suicide last week.

21st July evening was Ankita’s last evening
Ankita Gopnarayan, a resident of Akola, Maharashtra, was preparing for UPSC while living in Block 10 of Old Rajendra Nagar. She had taken coaching. On the evening of 21st July, she hanged herself to death. She also left a suicide note at the spot. In which she said that she was troubled by the problem of rent and broker. She has written that the government should put a stop to this, so that thousands of children living here can be saved from this problem.

Ankita’s maternal uncle told about her condition
Ankita’s maternal uncle Amar Patrode reached Delhi from Akola on Sunday to get her postmortem report. He told AnyTV Hindi that the rent of the room in which she lived was Rs 15500 per month. Ankita returned from Goa with her family on 20 July. As soon as she returned, the landlord asked to increase the rent by Rs 3000 per month. Otherwise, he gave an ultimatum to vacate the room by August 1.

Rent increased the problem
Amar told that Ankita belonged to a middle class family and her father is in Maharashtra Police. She was also troubled due to the high rent. There was already a lot of expenditure on studies. This has also been mentioned in the suicide note. Ankita spoke to her mother and aunt on July 21 at around 1.30 pm and committed suicide by hanging herself at around 7.30 pm. Vishal Shinde, who lives in Block 10, told that the problem of most of the students here is rent and brokers. They increase the rent at their will. The government should pay attention to them, so that more students do not take such a step in future.
