In these leaked documents, Doval allegedly tells his Russian counterpart that India is working to ensure that the issue of Ukraine war does not figure in the upcoming G-20 meeting.

India is currently the President of the G-20 and after a few months, the meeting of the Heads of State of this global group is going to be held in New Delhi. Biden, Putin and other heads of state of G-20 are expected to attend this meeting. President of Ukraine Zelensky wants that he should be allowed to participate in this meeting in a virtual way. This was also requested by the Ukrainian minister during her recent visit to India. India has not yet given any concrete answer to this request of Ukraine.

How did America reach Doval-Russia talks?
It is not yet clear how Doval’s conversation with the Russian NSA reached the US intelligence agency. Patrushev is very close to the Russian President.
