In fact, Aparna Yadav, the former president of the Samajwadi Party and the younger daughter-in-law of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, has joined the BJP.
According to the information, there was speculation about Aparna joining BJP for the last few days. She has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath on several occasions. Amidst these reports, the younger sister-in-law of former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Aparna Yadav, joined BJP in the presence of Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. During this, he also attacked the Samajwadi Party fiercely. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Swatantra Dev Singh got him the membership of the party. Regarding this, UP BJP wrote from its official Twitter account that Aparna Yadav took the membership of the party after being influenced by the public welfare policies of the BJP.

Aparna Yadav is the wife of Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Aparna and Prateek, who have completed their master’s degree in International Relations and Politics from Manchester University, UK, got engaged in 2010. Both were married in December 2011 in Mulayam Singh Yadav’s native village Saifai.
