Uttar Pradesh Exit Poll 2024: According to News 18’s mega exit poll, this time too NDA seems to be in the lead in the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha elections. According to the exit poll result, out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, NDA can get 68-71 seats. In which BJP alone is expected to get 64-67 seats. On the other hand, India Alliance can get 9-12 seats. Congress can perform better than 2019. It can win 3-6 seats, which also includes Rae Bareli seat. Rahul Gandhi is contesting from this seat.
Why is BJP leading?
If we look at the exit poll results, it seems that this time the seats of NDA are increasing as compared to 2019. Last time NDA got 64 seats. In which BJP alone won 62. While two seats went to Apna Dal’s account. This time NDA’s seats are seen increasing by 9, in which BJP is seen gaining 5 seats. Those who understand Uttar Pradesh politics closely say that the issue of Ram Mandir worked for BJP. Apart from this, BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath, was successful in mobilizing the voters.

Congress also benefits
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Congress was reduced to just one seat. In the 2024 exit polls, Congress’s seats are also seen increasing. This time Congress put all its strength in Uttar Pradesh. From Rahul to Priyanka, everyone held meetings. Priyanka Gandhi alone held 108 public meetings in 55 days. According to the Congress, Priyanka Gandhi sharpened the election campaign by holding an average of 2-3 public meetings and road shows every day. Especially in Rae Bareli and Amethi, she participated in an average of 8-10 meetings/welcome ceremonies/road shows every day. Which seems to be benefiting.
BSP suffered the most loss
If we look at the exit poll results, it seems that BSP is suffering the most losses in Uttar Pradesh. Last time SP and BSP contested the elections in alliance and contested on 78 seats. They won 15 of these. BSP got 10 and SP got 5 seats in this. According to experts, BSP got the benefit of being in alliance with SP last time. SP’s votes were also transferred to BSP on many seats. Which is not the case this time. Apart from this, BSP removed Akash Anand from his responsibilities in the middle of the elections. This also seems to be causing losses to it.
