New Delhi. Uttarakhand Board’s 10th and 12th class exam results were declared today. Piyush Kohlia of Almora and Kanchan Joshi of Haldwani jointly topped the class 12th examination. Anshul Negi of Rudraprayag secured second position and Harish Chandra of Rishikesh secured third position. In the 10th examination, Priyanshi Rawat of Gangolihat won with 500 marks out of 500. Shivam Maletha came second with 498 marks out of 500. Ayush secured third position with 495 marks out of 500. Students can check their result release on the official website of the board, ubse.uk.gov.in or uaresults.nic.in.
Intermediate toppers Piyush Kohlia and Kanchan Joshi scored 488 marks out of 500. Anshul Negi, who stood second, scored 485 marks out of 500, while Harish Chandra, who stood third, scored 480 marks out of 500. Uttarakhand Board Chairman Mahavir Singh Bisht announced the results in a press conference. More than 2 lakh students had appeared in the 10th and 12th examinations of Uttarakhand Board this year. The high school board exams started from 15th February and continued till 13th March, while the intermediate exams started on 27th February and ended on 16th March.
The result of class 10th was 89.14 percent while in class 12th a total of 82.63 percent candidates passed. In class 12th, the passing percentage of boys was 78.97 and the passing percentage of girls was 85.96. Students who have failed in the examination can apply for compartment examination. Application forms for compartment examination will be made available on the board’s website in a few days. The result can also be checked on the phone through SMS. For this, you will have to go to the message section of the phone and write UK10 or UK12, give space and type the roll number. Now this message has to be sent to 5676750. After some time the result will come on your phone.
