Ashok Gehlot has also reacted to former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s displeasure with officials. He said that Raje should talk about not only his home district, but of the whole of Rajasthan. Gehlot said, “His government had carried out Raje’s proposals in plans like ERCP without any discrimination. Vasundhara Raje should show a big heart and talk about the development of the whole of Rajasthan. It is not clear now whether something will happen in the next 11 years or not.” He appealed to Raje to focus on the welfare of the state.
Raje had said- people are crying, I will not let this happen
In fact, on 8 April, former CM Vasundhara Raje had reprimanded the officials of the Water Life Mission and Water Supply Department on the complaint of the drinking water crisis of the villagers of Raipur city. He said, “Does the public not feel thirsty? Thirst is only to the authorities. The public is upset with the drinking water crisis. The officials are satisfied. The water is satisfied, not on paper, but the public’s tongue. The officers are sleeping, the public is crying. I will not let it happen.”
Madan Rathore agreed with Vasundhara Raje
Madan Rathore supported this. He said, “Vasundhara Raje is our national vice president. They have not said anything wrong. If the officers are negligent, they will have to reprimand. We will not sacrifice our workers to save an officer. Nor will we try to distribute them. The officer will improve by improving himself. The officer who has done wrong will surely get punishment.”
