Pancham Pattagish Vatsalya Waridhi Acharya Shri Vardhman Sagar Ji Maharaj is sitting in Tonk with the Sangh these days. 700 Muniraj, including Nirvana Laddu and Shri Akampanacharya, Vishnu Muniraj, were worshiped on the occasion of Moksha Kalyanaka of Shri Shreyansnath Bhagwan in his association. Discourse: Importance of Vatsalya virtue
In the Dharm Sabha, Acharya Shri said that the story of prefix on 700 Munirajas in Hastinapur may not be directly related to Rakshabandhan, but today is a symbol of freedom from bondage. The 11th Tirthankara Shri Shreyansnath Bhagwan attained Nirvana after restraint, effort and knowledge on the day of Vatsalya Purnima. He said- “For the attainment of Nirvana,” Right philosophy, right knowledge and right character is necessary.
Story and Rakshabandhan of Akampanacharya
Acharya Sri narrated the story of Ujjain, in which King Bali prefixed 700 Munirajas in Hastinapur. At that time Mahamuni Vishnukumar removed the prefix from his Vikriya Riddhi.
He told- “The sages have a deep vatsalya sense towards religion, righteous and culture. This prefix ended on the day of Rakshabandhan Purnima, that is why it is also called Vatsalya Purnima.”
Historical resolution to protect Jain temples
Acharya Shri shared another episode of Jainism-Prathamacharya Shri Shanti Sagar Ji Maharaj had sacrificed for 1105 days in protest against the foreign entry. After the decision of the court, after the decision in favor of the Jain society, he took food on the day of Rakshabandhan Purnima.
