Vice-captain out of Team India's playing eleven, Sanju Samson gets a chance


New Delhi. India has made changes in the playing eleven for the second T20 match against Sri Lanka. Sanju Samson has got a chance in place of vice-captain opener Shubman Gill. Sanju Samson was not played in the first match of the current series. Gill complained of neck cramps after which he has been ruled out of the second T20 match. The Indian team is leading 1-0 in the 3-match series. Team India would like to win this match and win the series. The match started late due to rain.

After winning the toss, Indian team captain Suryakumar Yadav said, ‘We would like to bowl first. The weather is a bit favorable and the wicket is expected to be better in the second innings. Even when you win a game, there is always scope for improvement, you keep learning and improving. Gill is out as he complained of neck spasms, Samson has been included in the team.
