Washington: Kamala Harris, the potential presidential candidate from the Democratic Party, has made a big statement. She has made this statement at a time when new surveys show her coming close to giving a tough fight to Trump. Harris said that even though she is considered an ‘underdog’ in the race for the White House, she will definitely win the election in November on the strength of her people-centric campaign at the grassroots level.

Let us tell you that in the first campaign to raise funds after the official announcement of her candidature for the post of President, Harris told supporters that this year’s election is a choice between two visions for the country – one, which looks towards the future and the other, which wants to destroy the country’s progress. Vice President Harris, while addressing a group of 800 people who raised funds for her in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, said, “We are being considered weak in this race. A level has been set.

Harris said- I will win the election

We may be considered the underdog in this race, but this is a grassroots, people-centric campaign.” She raised $1.4 million at the event on Saturday. Amid thunderous applause from the audience, Harris (59) said her campaign has “garnered enough delegate support to secure the Democratic nomination.” Taking a dig at her Republican rival Donald Trump, she asked, “What kind of country do we want to live in? Do we want to live in a country of freedom, compassion and the rule of law, or do we want to live in a country of anarchy, fear and hate?” Harris expressed hope that former President Trump (78) would agree to debate with her. She alleged that Trump was spreading lies and confusion against her. (Language)
