New Delhi. Indian star Deepti Sharma has created a stir in England with her bat. She gave London Spirit a win against Welsh Fire by hitting a six and made them The Hundred champions. This is London Spirit’s first Women’s The Hundred title. In the Women’s The Hundred final, Welsh Fire batted first and scored 115 runs for 8 wickets. In response, London Spirit’s team achieved the target of victory on the 98th ball by losing 6 wickets.
In a very exciting final of The Hundred, Indian star Deepti Sharma’s innings of 16 runs off 16 balls made London Spirit the champion. The team has won this title for the first time. Georgia Redmayne scored the highest 34 runs for the London team. Apart from this, captain Heather Knight played an innings of 24 runs. Deepti Sharma did the most difficult task for the team in the end. She not only maintained the run rate but also led the team to victory with a six in the end.
