Bengaluru: A shocking incident has come to light from Tumkuru in Karnataka. According to reports, some youths in Tumkuru tried to hoist the Palestinian flag on the occasion of Independence Day, however, they were not successful in doing so. It should be noted that Independence Day celebrations were also going on at the same place where the youths were trying to hoist the Palestinian flag. A video of the incident has also surfaced in which some youths are seen trying to tie the Palestinian flag to a stick. However, seeing them hoisting the Palestinian flag, the people present there stopped them from hoisting the Palestinian flag.
Local people stopped the flag hoisting
According to reports, this incident took place in Kunigal in Tumakuru district. This incident took place during the Independence Day celebrations at the GKBMS school ground in Kunigal town of Tumakuru district. According to reports, some youths reached the back of the stage with a Palestinian flag and tried to tie it to a stick. However, local residents stopped them from doing so, and these youths fled from the area before the police arrived. Bajrang Dal members have appealed to the Kunigal police station to register a case. The police is currently investigating the matter.
