Mohammad Siraj got angry again in the middle of the field

IND vs SL: Anything can happen when Indian team’s fast bowler Mohammad Siraj is on the field. Although Siraj is known for taking wickets with his sharp bowling, but sometimes he also shows his attitude. The same thing happened this time too. Something similar was seen once again in the third ODI being played between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo, when he was seen glaring at Sri Lankan batsman Kusal Mendis during the match. You can also watch the video of this here.

All this happened in the 39th over of the match

Actually, in today’s match, the Sri Lankan captain won the toss and decided to bat first. That is, India had to bowl first. Sri Lanka’s openers gave the team a good start. 38 overs of the innings were over and Sri Lanka’s team had scored 138 runs for three wickets. Captain Rohit Sharma handed over the 39th over to Mohammad Siraj. Meanwhile, on the third ball of this over, some words were exchanged between Siraj and Kusal Mendil. This ball of Siraj was bowled at a speed of about 135 kilometers per hour. It was a skid ball, which also stayed a little low. Mendis lowered his bat in time and stopped the ball. After this, Siraj and Mendis look at each other. This incident continues for a few seconds and after this Siraj returns to his runup.

Siraj dismissed Samarawickrama in the same over

The interesting thing was that Siraj also took a wicket in this over. However, the batsman who got out was not Mendis. On the fourth ball of this over, Mendis took a run and went to the other end. Now Samarawickrama was in front of Siraj. This ball was bowled at a speed of 139 kilometers per hour and Samarawickrama was out LBW. Siraj made a big appeal on the yorker ball. Virat Kohli and Siraj felt that he was out, but keeper Rishabh Pant did not show any interest. Siraj convinced captain Rohit to take a review. When the third umpire checked it, it was found that Samarawickrama lowered his bat in a hurry. UltraEdge confirmed and ball-tracking showed that the ball had hit the leg. Joel Wilson’s decision was overturned and Samarawickrama was out on a golden duck. That is, he returned to the pavilion after getting out on the very first ball without scoring any run.

Sri Lanka batted first and scored 248 runs

Talking about the match, Sri Lanka’s team could not take advantage of the good start of their openers and the entire team could only score 248 runs in 50 overs. Now if the Indian team has to win this match, then it will have to score 249 runs. The first match of the series was tied, while in the second match India had to face defeat by 32 runs. Now if the series has to be tied, then Team India will have to achieve this target at all costs.
