He said that 8 people have died.
How much compensation will be given?
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has also announced compensation for the victims of the Darjeeling rail accident. According to the Railway Minister, a compensation of Rs 10 lakh has been announced for the families of the victims who lost their lives in this accident. Those seriously injured in the accident will get a compensation of Rs 2.5 lakh and the injured people will get a compensation of Rs 50 thousand.
