Heat wave will continue in some places, it will rain in some places
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted severe heat conditions in most parts of Rajasthan and areas of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The IMD has predicted that the heat wave will also affect Gujarat, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, western Uttar Pradesh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, Jammu division and Himachal Pradesh. The IMD has issued a red alert regarding heat wave in many states including Delhi and Rajasthan and has said that the weather will generally remain clear in these states. There is a possibility of dust storms at some places and during this time the wind speed can reach 20 to 30 kilometers per hour.
At the same time, rain continues in the southern states of India. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain for Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka till May 28. Apart from this, heatwave warning has been issued for Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu divisions. It has also been told that there will be severe heat in Delhi till May 28.
