New Delhi. The Indian team was all out for just 245 runs in the first innings in the first match of the two-match Test series against South Africa. Thanks to Dean Elgar’s unbeaten inning of 140 runs, the host team scored 256 runs for 5 wickets at the end of the match on the second day. South Africa has a slight lead of 11 runs over India. Team India’s legend Virat Kohli tried the trick used by the British during this match and got a wicket on the very next ball.
The Indian team is currently lagging behind in the Centurion Test match against South Africa. On the first day of the match, the host team captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and chose to bowl first. Experienced fast bowler Kagiso Rabada bowled brilliantly and took 5 wickets including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer. KL Rahul scored a century and took India to a respectable score of 245 runs.

Virat Kohli’s trick worked
On the second day of the Centurion Test match, India took the first wicket at 11 runs against South Africa. After this, Tony DiGeorge along with Dean Elgar took the score beyond 100 runs. This pair was becoming a problem for India when Virat Kohli did something which caught everyone’s attention. They exchanged the bails of the stump and on the very next ball, Tony was caught by Jasprit Bumrah at the hands of Yashasvi Jaiswal, giving success to India.

English bowler’s trick
The trick that Virat Kohli did had been done many times before by former England fast bowler Stuart Broad. Whenever he did not get a wicket, he used to change the bails on the stumps. Due to this he got success many times. During the Ashes series, Broad had dismissed Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne with this trick. Although Labuschagne had complained to the umpire about this, it was not considered a violation of any rule.
