New Delhi. After winning the T20 series against Sri Lanka, the Indian team is now ready for the ODIs. The captaincy of the team will be in the hands of Rohit Sharma who announced his retirement from T20 after winning the ICC T20 World Cup. Before entering the ODI series against Sri Lanka, he talked about his retirement. Rohit Sharma said that he is still unable to believe that he has said goodbye to T20.

The three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka is going to start from Friday, August 2. Rohit Sharma will play his first match after the T20 World Cup final. Before the start of the series, he spoke to the media and answered their questions. Talking about retirement from T20, Rohit Sharma said, “Till now I feel that maybe I have been given rest from the T20 team. As it used to happen with me earlier. Now a big tournament is about to come and we all have to prepare for T20. Till now I feel that maybe I have been given rest from the T20 team.”
