Chandigarh The team of Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gurugram, taking a major action today, arrested a village level entrepreneur (Village Level Entrepreneur) from the Women and Child Development Office in Atteli in Mahendragarh district and took a red handed. The accused has been identified as Rajveer, resident of Mohanpur, District Mahendragarh.
Rajveer is accused of demanding a bribe of ₹ 4,000 from the complainant’s mother’s Aadhaar card. The accused agreed to take ₹ 3,500 when the complainant repeatedly insisted. On the basis of this, the complainant informed the Anti -Corruption Bureau, Gurugram. Taking immediate action, the team caught the accused red handed taking ₹ 3,500 cash.
In this regard, a case has been registered against the accused under Section 7, PC Act 1988 and 302 (2), Indian Justice Code 2023 under the Anti -Corruption Bureau, Gurugram. The accused will be produced in the court as per rules and further investigation of the case is going on.
The Chief of Anti -Corruption Bureau Haryana has appealed to the common man that if any government official or employee demands a bribe in exchange for government work, they should immediately inform ACB Haryana. For this, toll free number 1800-180-2022 and helpline number 1064 have been issued by the department.
