Strong performance in Paris Olympics 2024
Vinesh Phogat performed brilliantly in the Paris Olympics 2024. She performed well in the quarter-finals and semi-finals. In such a situation, everyone expected that she would easily win the gold medal. But as soon as she was disqualified, the hearts of all Indians were broken. Vinesh went into depression, after which she was admitted to the hospital. Indian Olympic Association chief PT Usha came to meet her there and consoled her. She had realized the weight gain even before. Due to this, she could not sleep properly the whole night and got her nails and hair cut.
PT Usha said this
IOA Chief PT Usha said that Vinesh’s disqualification is very shocking. I met her at the Olympic Village clinic and assured her of full support from the IOA, the Government of India and the entire country. We are providing all medical and emotional support to Vinesh.
