New Delhi. Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat could not win a medal even after creating history in Paris Olympics. The whole country is saddened by this. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Indian players of Paris Olympics, he specially mentioned Vinesh Phogat and called her the brave daughter of the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the players who returned from Paris Olympics on 15 August. PM congratulated these players for participating in the Olympics and said that no player has returned defeated. He has learnt something from there. Therefore, all of you are achievers. Remove this thought from your mind that you have returned defeated.

Vinesh Phogat was not present in this meeting program but Modi did not forget her. PM Modi said, ‘Vinesh became the first Indian (woman) who reached the final of wrestling in the Olympics. This is also a matter of pride for us.’ Vinesh Phogat is currently in Paris. She will return to India on Saturday.
