Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat caused a big upset by defeating Japan’s Yui Susaki 3-2 in the last-16 match of women’s 50 kg wrestling at the Paris Olympics. Four-time world champion Susaki won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. This is the first defeat of the Japanese wrestler in international wrestling, which makes Vinesh’s success even more special. Susaki had a 2-0 lead before the last few seconds of the match against Vinesh.
