In the latest video, Vinod Kambli gave an update on his health and said that he is fine and ready to play cricket. In the video, Kambli was seen surrounded by friends and seemed to be in a good mood. Kambli said, “I am fine, Marcus. By the grace of God I am saved. I am fit and fine. Yes, I can go to the pitch and bat. I will bat at number three. I will hit the spinners out of the field.”

Kambli’s career was short

Kambli made his international debut against Pakistan in Sharjah in 1991. He played 104 ODIs for the country and scored 2477 runs and 1084 runs in 17 Test matches at an impressive average of 54.20. The Mumbai-born cricketer played international cricket till 2000. At the same time, he participated in domestic cricket till 2004. Kambli was known for his brilliant strokeplay and many people then termed him as a future star. But Kambli could not do justice to his talent and then he had to be dropped from Team India. After his retirement, he worked as a coach with MCA and also opened an academy but could not succeed.
