New Delhi. Violence has erupted once again in West Bengal before the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. It is being told that a violent clash broke out between the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and BJP workers in Nandigram of East Medinipur district late on Wednesday night. A female BJP worker died in this clash while many other workers were also injured. The name of the deceased woman has been reported as Rathibala Aadi. BJP has accused TMC workers of attack, however TMC has completely rejected these allegations of BJP. There is tension in the area since the incident.

A protest march was also taken out by BJP workers today against this incident. On the other hand, TMC says that due to the ongoing infighting among BJP workers, they themselves clashed with each other. Trinamool Congress Party or any of our workers have nothing to do with this incident. BJP alleges that the West Bengal Police forcibly raided BJP workers in East and West Medinipur at the instigation of the TMC government. During this, a BJP worker was also detained.
BJP says that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wants to break the morale of BJP leaders and workers by intimidating them with such action before the elections. Let us tell you that during the elections held in the previous phases, there have been reports of violent clashes and riots in different parts of West Bengal. It is worth noting that in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held on May 25 for a total of 8 seats in the districts of Jangalmahal including East Medinipur of West Bengal.
