Vivo V40, V40 Pro 5G Launched in India
Vivo has launched another phone of the V series in India. This series of Vivo will replace the Vivo V30 series launched at the beginning of the year. In the new series of Vivo, the company has also given all the cameras of 50MP. Apart from this, this series comes with a powerful battery and processor. The design of Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro is almost the same. However, you will see a slight difference in the hardware features of both the phones.
Vivo V40 Series Price
Vivo V40 has been launched in three storage variants 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB. Its base variant is priced at Rs 34,999. At the same time, its other two variants are priced at Rs 36,999 and Rs 41,999 respectively. This phone can be purchased in Ganges Blue and Titanium Gray color options.
Vivo V40 Pro has been introduced in two storage variants – 8GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB. Its base variant is priced at Rs 49,999. At the same time, its top variant comes for Rs 55,999. This phone can be purchased in Ganges Blue and Titanium Gray color options. Pre-booking of both these Vivo phones has started and its sale will be held on August 19. Both these phones can be purchased from e-commerce website Flipkart as well as the company’s official online and offline stores.
Features of Vivo V40 Series
Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro have a 6.78-inch FHD + display, which supports 120Hz high refresh rate feature. Vivo has used 3D curved AMOLED screen in both the phones of this series. Also, the display of the phone supports peak brightness feature up to 4,500 nits. Both these Vivo phones have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Pro model of this series has MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, while its standard model has Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Both these phones support up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. This Vivo series has a 5,500mAh battery. The phone has 80W USB Type C fast charging feature. Both these Vivo phones work on FuntouchOS based on Android 14.
Vivo V40 has a dual camera setup in the back. The phone has a 50MP main camera, which supports OIS i.e. optical image stabilization feature. A 50MP wide angle camera is also provided in the back of the phone. A 50MP camera will be available in it for selfie and video calling.
Vivo V40 Pro has a triple camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main OIS camera. Along with this, a 50MP wide angle camera and a 50MP telephoto portrait camera have been provided. It will also have a 50MP camera for selfie and video calling.
