Update on engine and power
The new Volkswagen Vertus will share the engine and gearbox with the mid-size SUV Taigun. The company will launch this car with two engine options 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder TSI petrol. In which 1 liter engine will be able to generate 108bhp power and 175Nm of torque and 1.5 liter engine will generate 147bhp power and 250Nm torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic and a 7-speed DSG automatic.
