Bharatpur Attempts to close a road opened between the boundary walls of the hospital at Zanana Hospital have been postponed after strict opposition from the local residents. The protest against the wall construction work being carried out by the hospital administration began when the contractor tried to close the path towards the colony located behind the hospital. Police also reached the spot as soon as the protest was reported. The local people protesting said that they have been using this route for many years and have been moving through the same route during any kind of work in the hospital. He expressed concern that if this path is closed, the sick persons would have to go round to reach the hospital, causing them inconvenience.
At the same time, the hospital administration says that there are three other entrances to the hospital. For security, it is necessary to complete the boundary wall of the hospital premises, due to which this special route is being closed. However, in view of the increasing protest of the local people, the hospital administration and the contractor have currently postponed the work of constructing the wall on this route.
The construction staff present on the spot also returned after protest. The incident has led to a dispute between Zanana Hospital and nearby residents over the road. Local people are demanding to keep the road open, while the hospital administration wants to close it citing security reasons. At the moment, no final decision has been taken on the issue and it has to be seen how the solution to this problem is resolved between the hospital administration and the local community.
