Mumbai. Two women died after the wall of a three-storey building collapsed in the Antop Hill area of the country’s financial capital Mumbai. The fire brigade team reached the spot and is engaged in relief and rescue work. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that information was received about the collapse of a house in Vijay Nagar of Antop Hill area. The fire brigade team immediately reached the spot and started relief and rescue work. BMC has also said that two people died and some were injured in this accident.
A few days ago, a man and a 10-year-old boy died when a part of the slab and parapet of a five-storey building under construction collapsed in Mumbai. Municipal Corporation officials had said that the incident took place at 11.10 pm in Kailash Business Park in Vikhroli area. It is worth noting that heavy rains are continuously occurring in many parts of Mumbai.

The official had said that when the fire brigade reached the spot after receiving the information, they found that some part of the parapet and slab had collapsed. It was also seen that some parts of the under-construction building were hanging dangerously; the fire brigade immediately removed them to prevent any further accident. The official said that before the fire brigade arrived, some locals rushed the 38-year-old man and the boy to Rajawadi Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
