Guwahati. Due to the festival of Eid-ul-Azha or Bakrid, the service of Mithali Express train running between New Jalpaiguri (NJP) in West Bengal and Dhaka in Bangladesh has been canceled for three days. According to a statement from the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), the decision to cancel the train service running twice a week has been taken by the Indian Railways after consultation with Bangladesh Railways. Mithali Express is one of the three trains running between India and Bangladesh. The other two trains are Kolkata-Dhaka-Kolkata Maitree Express and Kolkata-Khulna-Kolkata Bandhan Express.
