Russian Foreign Minister told these conditions
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said a day earlier that Moscow was ready for talks on Kiev at any time. As soon as the Armed Forces of Ukraine respond to the appeal of our President (Vladimir Putin), to stop protesting and to lay down arms, we are ready to negotiate. No one is going to attack them, no one will torture them, let them return to their families.
Zelensky targets some European countries
Zelensky also criticized some European countries for not being quick enough to provide aid to Ukraine amid tensions. As Sputnik reports, Zelensky said in a televised statement that how are you going to defend yourself if you are helping so slowly.
He said Western action against Russia was insufficient. He also urged Western leaders to disengage Moscow from the SWIFT banking system and recall ambassadors from the Russian capital. Zelensky appealed to European countries to demand a stop to the war. Leaders of several countries, including the UK, US, Canada and the European Union, have condemned Russia’s military operations in Ukraine. He has also imposed heavy sanctions on Russia. US President Joe Biden said on Thursday that the US would introduce a new list of sanctions against Russia as part of a broader effort to isolate Moscow from the global economy.
