District Collector and District Disaster Management Authority Chairman Priyanka Goswami has issued an order to the Meteorological Department, keeping an order of excessive rainfall in the district and has declared a holiday on July 30 to 31 July, using the power provided under the Disaster Management Act 2005 in all the Anganwadi centers of the district and all the Anganwadi centers in the district and all the state and non -state schools in classes 1 to 12.
The District Collector informed that this order will be applicable only to students and students and Anganwadi centers from class 1 to 12. Schools and Anganwadi staff will work unchanged. He has directed all the head/in -charge Anganwadi centers of the district to ensure that the order be cradled literally. He has appealed to the public to stay away from river, drains, anicut and culvert. During the rainy season, celestial thunderstorms and lightning phenomenon can prove fatal. Special precautions need to be taken during rainy days. He said that if you are outside the house at the time of cloud, then stop at home or somewhere as soon as possible. Stay away from a place with tin or metal roofs. Do not stand under any tree. Distance a distance from a crowded place. There is a possibility of sudden water coming in the rainy season, river drains.
