Patna CM Nitish Kumar is on the target of his ally RJD and opposition BJP after losing the by-election in Bihar’s Kudhani assembly seat. Anil Kumar, RJD MLA from Kudhani, had even demanded Nitish’s resignation. In such a situation, Nitish is now seen blaming his own party’s candidate for the defeat in Kudhani. In the open session of JDU in Patna on Sunday, Nitish put the responsibility of Kudhani’s defeat on his own candidate Manoj Kumar Singh. During this, Nitish once again chanted the slogan of unity among JDU and other opposition parties. Please tell that Nitish had started the work of uniting the opposition against the Modi government in the past.
Nitish said in the open session of JDU that our candidate Manoj ji is responsible for the defeat in Kudhani. Our candidate had earlier opposed someone in the Panchayat elections. They have now opposed Manoj Kumar Singh in the Kudni by-election. Because of which the Grand Alliance has lost the Kudhani seat. Nitish Kumar then said that if everyone unites now, then the opposition will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with a huge margin. He said that the main front is not the third front of the opposition. We sincerely worked for the development of all. Some people say the opposite, but we keep working. Nitish said that he wishes that everyone should enter the field together.
Let’s also talk about the Kudhani assembly by-election. Manoj Kumar Singh of JDU was on this seat from the Grand Alliance. Manoj has been defeated by BJP’s Kedar Prasad Gupta. Earlier, the Kudhani seat was won by RJD’s Anil Kumar Sahni in 2020. His assembly membership was canceled in the corruption case. After which the by-election was held. Earlier, by-elections were held at two places. Out of which the BJP had defeated the Grand Alliance on the Gopalganj seat as well. Even then voices were raised in the alliance against Nitish.
