Jaipur. Weather chaos continues in Rajasthan. While rains are continuing in many areas due to the impact of Western Disturbance, there was a massive storm in the capital Jaipur late on Saturday. During this time the wind speed was so high that people were scared at one point. Nothing was visible on the roads except flying dust. After that the light rain made the weather pleasant. Due to this change in the weather, a drop in temperature has been recorded in many areas of the state and it has come below normal.
Amidst the continuous changes in the weather of Rajasthan, a severe storm occurred in Jaipur at around 12 o’clock in the night. Strong dusty winds shook people. Nothing was visible except dust all around. After that there was light rain in various areas of the capital. Due to dust storm and light rain the temperature dropped and the weather became pleasant. Due to the cold breeze on Sunday morning, a large number of people came out of their homes for a walk. The city’s gardens remained populated with morning walkers.
Hail fell along with rain in Desuri
Earlier on Saturday, due to good rain in Bhopalgarh of Jodhpur, people there also got relief from the heat of summer. Hail fell along with rain in Desuri of Pali. There was good rain in Nal Ghat section including Desuri. In Bhilwara also, after the heat of the day, the weather suddenly changed in the evening. After that, there was drizzle along with strong winds in the city and people got relief from the heat. After the rain in Sriganganagar, the day temperature dropped by 6.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius in Sriganganagar.
The maximum temperature remained between 38 to 43 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to changes in the weather, in the last 24 hours till 8 pm on Saturday night, the maximum temperature at most places in the state has been recorded between 38 to 43 degrees. The highest maximum temperature in Phalodi was 43.2 degrees Celsius. Today the Meteorological Department has predicted rain at isolated places in Kota, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer and Udaipur in eastern Rajasthan and Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions in western Rajasthan. There is a possibility of relief from heatwave/loo during the next 3 days.
