Kedarnath Dham
The Uttarakhand government has informed that on Sunday, a total of 19,484 people visited Bholenath in Kedarnath Dham. Out of these, 12,857 were men and 6,323 were women. 304 children were among those who visited Lord Shiva. Since the temple opened, 6,27,213 people have reached Kedarnath Dham. There is always a crowd of devotees for Kedarnath Dham and due to the closure of the temple, many devotees are not able to reach here every time, but this time the enthusiasm of the devotees is much more than before. There is intense heat in the whole country and cyclone Remal has caused havoc in the eastern states, but the weather has no effect on the devotees of Bholenath.
Every day thousands of devotees are reaching to visit Baba Kedarnath. The entire route from Kedar Valley to Kedarnath is full of pilgrims. The pilgrimage to Kedarnath Dham has set a new record in the year 2024. For the first time in the history of Kedarnath Yatra, more than 5 lakh people have visited in 18 days.
The doors were opened on 10 May
The doors of Kedarnath and Yamunotri were opened on 10 May on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. During this time, the temple was decorated with 20 quintals of flowers and flowers were showered on the pilgrims from a helicopter. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, while congratulating the devotees, had said that this time the Chardham Yatra will create a new record. Since the opening of the doors, the entire Kedarnath is echoing with the slogans of ‘Bam-Bam Bhole’ and ‘Baba Kedar ki Jai’. Every day devotees immersed in devotion are seen dancing with Damru.
The administration made concrete arrangements
Thousands of people are reaching every day to have darshan of Baba Kedarnath since the beginning. The administration is providing all kinds of facilities to the pilgrims. Accommodation and food facilities, toilets and electricity facilities are being provided to the pilgrims at Kedarnath Dham. Apart from this, the entire complex as well as every helipad, footpath, pilgrimage halt and highway are being monitored through CCTV cameras.
