Weather Forecast: There is no hope of relief from the sweating heat at the moment. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday that there will be no respite from the heatwave already prevailing in many parts of India. Also, it has predicted more hot days ahead.
The department has predicted extreme heat in West Rajasthan during March 28 to 30. Apart from this, heat wave conditions have been predicted for different states on March 31 and April 1, 2022.
Summer mercury will increase in these states
The IMD has predicted scorching heat wave over Jammu division and Himachal Pradesh (28-29 March), South Haryana (29-30 March), Saurashtra-Kutch, East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh (28 April 1 April). Apart from these states, an alert has also been issued for heat wave conditions in Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada (March 29-31), South Uttar Pradesh (March 30-31) and Jharkhand and Interior Odisha (March 30-April 1) .
Temperature will increase in these states including Maharashtra
No significant change in maximum temperature is predicted over rest of the country during the next five days, except that the maximum temperature has increased by 2-3 degree Celsius over Maharashtra. The maximum temperature over Gujarat and most parts of East India is likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius after two-three days.
Heat attack continues in Rajasthan for several days
On Sunday, Banswara in Rajasthan recorded a maximum temperature of 42.6 degrees Celsius. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, the maximum temperature in Banswara was 42.6 degrees, Barmer 41.9, Tonk 41.8 degrees, Ganganagar 41.7 degrees, Jaisalmer 41.6 degrees, Bikaner 41.4 degrees, Churu 41.0 degrees, Sawai Madhopur and Jalore. 41.5 degrees was recorded.
These people will have trouble with the heat
Hot winds can cause moderate health concerns for vulnerable people such as infants, the elderly, and people with chronic illnesses. Meanwhile, symptoms of heat illness are increased in people who are either exposed to the sun for long periods of time or do heavy work.
