According to the latest information received from the Meteorological Department, there may be light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura till March 29. There are also chances of lightning at many places in these states. The Meteorological Department also says that there may be snowfall at many places in Arunachal Pradesh till March 26. At the same time, on March 25, there are chances of heavy rain in the Himalayan areas of West Bengal and Sikkim.
Now let us come towards the plains. The Meteorological Department says that areas of Gangetic West Bengal may see light to moderate rain on March 25 and 26. There are chances of rain in Bihar and Jharkhand also on Monday i.e. tomorrow. There is still a possibility of clear sky in Punjab and UP. Whereas, from Tuesday to March 28, there may be light rain in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in the areas of Delhi and NCR from March 27 to the next day. Strong winds are also expected in Delhi and NCR. The maximum temperature in both these areas is expected to be around 34 degrees.
This year it was very cold from January to the whole of February. Due to successive western disturbances, there was heavy snowfall in the hilly areas. Due to western disturbance, rain and hailstorm were also seen in the plains. Now it is expected that from the first week of April the weather will generally become dry and the temperature will rise continuously. The Meteorological Department has already said that there will be a lot of heat in India this year. In the southern states the temperature has already gone very high.
