New Delhi. People in the north, east and west regions of the country are troubled by the scorching heat. Hundreds of people have lost their lives so far due to the heatwave. The weather department has now made a fresh forecast on how long the heat will continue. According to the weather department, it may rain in many states soon. The weather department says that there is a possibility of rain in some parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and UP today and tomorrow i.e. on Sunday. This will provide relief to people from the scorching heat. On Friday, there was rain accompanied by thunderstorms in the western parts of Haryana and the north-eastern parts of Rajasthan.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be rain in Jaipur and Bharatpur areas of Rajasthan and strong winds of up to 50 kmph can blow. This will provide relief from the heatwave. However, after two days, the heat can intensify here once again. The Meteorological Department has also informed that the monsoon is continuously moving forward from Kerala and the east. Monsoon has reached all the states of the Northeast and a large part of West Bengal. Heavy rain is expected in the Northeast for the next 5 days. At the same time, rain can also be seen in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The weather department had already said that this time there will be intense heat, but later there will be a lot of rain in the monsoon season. The reason for this is that the effect of El Nino is over and there is the effect of La Nina. There is more rain when there is the effect of La Nina. If we talk about the weather in India so far this year, then from January to mid-March, people in a large area were troubled by cold. Due to western disturbances, there was snowfall in the hilly areas. After this, the heat increased rapidly and now the situation is such that the temperature has crossed 47 degrees in many places.
