Webinar Leaving No Citizen Behind: It has been said by the Ministry of Rural Development that now doing banking transactions through Interoperable Post Office ATMs has become more simple. Post Office account holders can avail safe, secure and convenient interoperable net banking facility.
A webinar was organized by the Ministry of Rural Development on Wednesday. Its theme was ‘Leaving No Citizen Behind’. It was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under this, the Department of Posts webinar is part of Breakout Session 4, in which livelihood options and access to financial services for all the rural poor, especially women, were discussed. This webinar was addressed by PM Modi.
Post office ATM transaction easy
On this occasion, regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative of digitization of post offices, it was said by the Ministry that now it has become more easy to do banking transactions through Interoperable Post Office ATMs. According to the ministry, business activities will be facilitated for our farmers and rural artisans through interoperable post office accounts. Post Office account holders can avail safe, secure and convenient interoperable net banking facility. The statement issued said that under the budget 2022, many facilities have been released for the post office account holders. Many banking transactions can be done through post office accounts.
Budget Roadmap to Achieve Big Goals
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the webinar on the positive impact of Union Budget on rural development and explained it in very easy language. PM Modi said that in this budget, a clear roadmap has been given by the government to achieve the big target in rural areas. In this budget, necessary provision has been made for PM Awas Yojana, Gramin Sadak Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, connectivity of North East, broadband connectivity of villages, for every such scheme.
