New Delhi. On the occasion of Durga Puja in Bangladesh, fundamentalists attacked many puja pandals and vandalized the idols. After this incident, political turmoil has started in West Bengal as well. On one hand, the ruling Trinamool Congress has demanded immediate intervention of the central government, while on the other hand the BJP has also urged the PM to intervene in this matter.
TMC leader and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh demanded action from the government of Bangladesh in this matter and immediate intervention of the central government and said that the way minorities are safe in India, in the same way minorities are protected in Bangladesh. Security should be ensured.

After West Bengal’s ruling party TMC, senior BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi raising the issue of attack on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.
He has also sent a copy of the letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and State Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.

During Durga Puja, when the procession was going out, the extremist forces vandalized Durga Puja pandals and idols. At present the condition of minorities living in Bangladesh is very bad. Many Sanatani people have been victims of assault and suffering.
Some of them have crossed the border and settled in West Bengal. They are constantly pleading to stand with the suffering Sanatani people of Bangladesh. It is requested to take immediate and necessary steps, so that the Sanatani people living in Bangladesh get relief.
