New Delhi. The Rouse Avenue Court has handed over CM Arvind Kejriwal of the country’s capital Delhi to the Enforcement Directorate on four-day remand. In the remand papers presented before the court by the ED seeking additional remand of seven days, the truth of the interrogation of the Chief Minister during his custody till now was told to the court. It was told by ED that Arvind Kejriwal’s movable and immovable property, income tax return and other financial information was sought, which has not been given by him yet. Due to which now ED has sought information about the financial details of Arvind Kejriwal from the concerned bank and Income Tax Department. After getting information from the concerned department, Kejriwal will be questioned in this regard.
The Enforcement Directorate has informed the court that the person who was the candidate of Aam Aadmi Party in Goa has said in the recorded statement that the party had promised that the party will bear all the financial expenses during the elections. Aam Aadmi Party leader Deepak Singla, who was active in Goa elections, has been seized from the house and digital data is being extracted from the digital device. After getting the data, there may be a need to interrogate Arvind Kejriwal.

Kejriwal’s face to face with Sisodia’s PS
The Enforcement Directorate informed the court that C. Arvind, who was Manish Sisodia’s PS during his custody, was made face to face with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. While seeking remand, ED said in the court that it has to be inquired regarding the information related to the visitors/people coming to the Chief Minister’s office. The court was told by the ED that Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on the basis of the evidence collected so far by the investigating agency.
Who will be able to meet the CM now?
The court has said in its order that Aam Aadmi Party MP Sandeep Pathak will also be able to meet him during his custody. Daughter Harshita Kejriwal will also be able to meet. The court has already allowed his wife Sunita Kejriwal and son Bibhav Kumar as well as lawyers to meet Kejriwal in custody.
