Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda said that we have received information about political turmoil in Bangladesh. The country is ruled by the army. We hope that the army will definitely perform its duty to protect the citizens. Shankaracharya said that about 10 percent of Hindus live in Bangladesh. Their safety is important. Therefore, he will appeal to the Bangladesh Army to ensure the safety of Hindus.
Demolition of Hindu temples and attacks on minorities increased
