New Delhi. The chiefs of the three wings of the army can announce the launch of ‘Agneepath Recruitment Scheme’ today. Under this scheme, the old practice of recruiting soldiers in the three wings of the army will end. With the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme, the youth will get a chance to show their zeal and passion towards the country in a short time service. Along with this, the youth will also be able to prepare themselves for a better career ahead. CDS was the self for this scheme. It was prepared by General Bipin Rawat. The Modi government is now going to take steps towards implementing it. So here let us tell you what is the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme and how it can be beneficial for the youth.
Under the Agneepath scheme, soldiers will be recruited for only 4 years in all the three wings of the army. The recruited youth will be given training for 6 to 9 months. After 4 years, 20 percent of the recruited jawans who do better work can be kept ahead. The rest of the retired jawans will get a lump sum amount of 11 to 15 lakhs. No pension will be payable on retirement. On being martyred for the country, the family will get the facilities as per earlier from the government. On retiring after 4 years, the army will also help these ex-servicemen to get jobs elsewhere. For this, the army has also talked to all the private companies.
The scheme was supposed to be launched earlier this month, but according to sources it could not happen due to the time taken to formulate its policies. The process of recruitment of soldiers in all three parts of the army has also not been done for a long time due to the Corona period. It is believed that with the launch of Agneepath scheme today, the closed process of recruitment will also be opened.
