Perhaps a lot still needs to be done.’ Khurshid said, ‘The truth is that something else is going on beneath the surface.’

Manoj Jha said, ‘The success of Shaheen Bagh should not be measured on the scale of its grandeur.’ He said, ‘Remember what the Shaheen Bagh protest was… when the Parliament was defeated, the streets came alive.’

Many people believe that Shaheen Bagh was successful. But I know what is happening to the people associated with Shaheen Bagh. How many of them are still in jail? How many of them cannot get bail? How many of them are being told that they are enemies of this country?’ He said, ‘If I ask myself tomorrow whether Shaheen Bagh will be repeated and I am not sure that it will happen because people have really suffered a lot.’
