New Delhi. The bugle for Lok Sabha elections 2024 has been sounded. The Election Commission has made it clear that the Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be conducted in a total of seven phases, after which the counting of votes will take place on June 4. Voting will be held on May 25 in the sixth phase on all seven seats of the country’s capital Delhi. BJP has changed faces for all its MPs for Delhi except Manoj Tiwari. During a program organized at BJP state headquarters Pant Marg, all the BJP Lok Sabha candidates from Delhi came forward and presented their 100-day agenda in case they win the elections.
Bansuri Swaraj, New Delhi Lok Sabha Candidate: Working for establishment of Startup Hub in New Delhi to generate new employment opportunities for youth and promoting women self-help groups. I will give priority to the de-sealing work of local shopping centers and other commercial premises which are sealed in the first month. I will work through legal means to implement schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana in Delhi. There is a lot of traffic problem in Delhi Cantt, around Dhaula Kuan in New Delhi Parliamentary constituency. We will try to make a master plan for this. To encourage Delhi Police to use drone surveillance to boost night security in New Delhi Parliamentary constituency.
Praveen Khandelwal, Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha Candidate: MP Aapke Dwar scheme will be implemented from the first month, every work will be done in the colony. Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency is the center of heritage of culture and civilization and for this purpose, work will be done to develop Culture Preservation Center in Yamuna Bazar area. To promote the commercial nature of Chandni Chowk, work will start in 100 days on the overall development proposal of Chandni Chowk, Khari Baoli, Chawdi Bazaar, Sadar Bazaar and beautification proposal of markets like Model Town, Kamla Nagar. Work will be done on women empowerment through NGOs and RWAs.
Yogendra Chandolia, North West Delhi Lok Sabha candidate: Raising the demand for Bawana-Narela metro phase. Starting a Sports University through the Lieutenant Governor. Drainage is a big problem in Kirari. I will try to start work on this in the first 30 days.
Kamaljit Sehrawat, Western Lok Sabha candidate: A special traffic master plan will have to be brought for West Delhi so that the problem of traffic jam can be solved. To reduce the increasing pollution in West Delhi, construction of number of electrical basins and installation of pollution purifier plant. Extension of metro line. Construction of a government hospital in Chhawla, construction of Delhi University campus for West Delhi and construction of a sports stadium, all these will be given priority.
Harsh Malhotra, East Delhi Lok Sabha candidate: The Modi government has made no let-up in the development of the area since 2014. The aim of the Central Government is to build houses in place of slums as has been done in Govindpuri also. Yamuna should be cleaned and its river front should be built. I will try to build a super specialty hospital in East Delhi.
Rambir Singh Bidhuri, South Delhi Lok Sabha candidate: I am grateful to Narendra Modi ji, a 6 lane highway is being prepared. The largest eco park in Badarpur assembly constituency has been given to South East Delhi. A flyover has also been provided at Mithapur Chowk, arrangements have also been made to build a new bridge, Badarpur assembly constituency will be connected to the metro, the outer population of Lal Dora will be regularized. All the roads of the master plan will be built. All types of civic facilities will be provided to 69 unauthorized colonies inside Delhi. Land mafia will not take over.
Manoj Tiwari, North East Delhi Lok Sabha candidate: I feel very proud that in 2024, I am sitting with my state president along with all the seven friends of Delhi. The people of Delhi are going to give their blessings to Narendra Modi ji to become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. When I came in 2014, there was a voice in the streets of North East that you will build a signature bridge, it was said that you will remove the traffic jam, a central school can be built. For the first time, we sat from the same place in the metro. Our effort is that the distance from Delhi to Dehradun is going to be completed in a short time, the fourth phase of the metro is going to be given soon, a central school has been inaugurated, Yamuna River Front is the next target, all the work will be done in our six months.
