After coming to power at the Center in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to all the BJP MPs to adopt one village each in their respective areas, which could be developed under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. In this campaign, PM Modi himself adopted Jayapur village of Sewapuri assembly constituency. Jayapur has now been included in Adarsh village. The people of the village themselves have given proof of how much development and transformation has taken place in Jayapur village after PM Modi adopted it. According to the villagers, the entire map of Jayapur has changed in 10 years. The villagers are happy about the rapid development work done in Jayapur.
Meanwhile, in a special conversation with IANS, Sandeep Kumar said that a lot of development has taken place after PM Modi adopted Jayapur village. Earlier there were no banks and roads here, now, concrete roads have been built in the village and banks have also opened. After the formation of Jal Nigam in the village, water facility was also available in the house through pipe line. Electricity is also available in the village. Along with this, beneficiaries have also got gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme. Besides, all the people who were beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have also got houses. The village is continuously developing. Because of PM Modi, this development has gained more momentum and still more development is to happen in the village.
Arun Kumar, another villager from the village, said, “There has been a lot of development in Jayapur village, two banks have branches, post office has opened. Roads were constructed, water arrangements were made, solar plants were installed. Many thanks to PM Modi that he has made such development in the village.” Along with this, Mukesh Patel said that ever since PM Modi has adopted this village, there are two banks, ATM, post office, road in the village, water and electricity facility at every house and people here. Has got gas facility under Ujjwala scheme. Those who are eligible to get Ayushman card have also got this card.
Manoj Kumar said, “The village has developed a lot. We have got housing, toilet, gas connection, water facility and electricity. Road is also found in the village. There is also a bank in the village. The village has developed. Narendra Modi will become PM again.” At the same time, another villager Laldhar told that first solar light came here, electricity came to the village, road was provided, villagers also got housing, toilet and gas connection.
Along with this, village woman Dharamsheela said, “After PM Modi’s adoption of Jayapur village, we have got employment opportunity, after which we are able to support our family well.” He said, “The village has facilities of water, toilet and electricity. Besides, banks are also open in the village. We are also getting free ration from the government. We want PM Modi to come to power for the third time, so that our village can develop more.”
At the same time, Usha Pandey said that after adopting this village by PM Modi, we have got employment. PM Modi has developed the village rapidly. Toilets were built in many houses. There are good facilities like banks and water in the village. Meena Devi of the same village said, “Earlier we had to bring water from the well. Now water is available in the house. Two banks were also opened in the village. Along with this, solar energy and concrete roads have also been built in the village. We express our gratitude to PM Modi for the development of the village.”
Let us tell you that the population of this Jayapur village, adopted by PM Modi under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, is about 3,100. There are a total of 2,700 voters in this village. The rapid development in this village, situated about 25 kilometers south-west of Varanasi Railway Station, since 2014 is a testimony to the fact that this village has got full benefit of the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. This village falls in Sewapuri assembly constituency and Arajiline block.
