According to researchers, Arjuna bark contains effective phytoconstituents like triterpenoids, β-sitosterol, flavonoids and glycosides. The triterpenoids and flavonoids found in it are considered better for heart health. Using Arjuna bark as a medicine can have a positive effect on ischemic cardiomyopathy. This bark has been found very useful in angina pectoris, high blood pressure and dyslipidemia, the special thing is that till now no serious side effects have been reported from Arjuna therapy.
