India lost the ODI series 0-2 under Rohit’s captaincy
India played a 3-match T20 and a 3-match ODI series in Sri Lanka. Suryakumar Yadav was the captain of Team India in the T20 while Rohit Sharma led the team in the ODI series. Under Surya’s captaincy, India defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in the T20 series, while India escaped a clean sweep in the ODI series. Sri Lanka won the series by defeating India 2-0. The first ODI of the series was a tie.
India vs Bangladesh series from September 19
The Indian team will now play a Test series against Bangladesh from September 19. The Bangladeshi team will tour India where both teams will clash in 2 Tests and a 3-match T20 series. The T20 series will begin from October 6. The first Test match will be played in Chennai while the second and last Test match will be played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Team India will not play any ODI series this year.
