What will be the change in Team India’s playing eleven?
India vs Canada Playing XI: Team India has already entered the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup. However, its last league match is still pending. Teams India and Canada will face each other on June 15. While Canada’s World Cup story is almost over, this match does not mean much for Team India. However, it will still be important to continue the winning streak. Now the question is whether captain Rohit Sharma will make any changes in the playing eleven of the next match or will he field the same team that played in the last three matches.
Same playing eleven in the first three matches
No changes were made in India’s playing XI in the first three matches of the T20 World Cup 2024. Not only this, Kohli, who is continuously proving to be a flop, is also being made to open. It is another matter that runs have not come from his bat. With Kohli opening the innings with Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal has not got a chance yet, he is sitting out. After this, Rishabh Pant comes at number three, due to which Jaiswal is not able to make a place. Shivam Dubey is also a part of the team, which is why Sanju Samson also has to sit out.
Four players have not played a single match yet
In the team selected by the BCCI selection committee for the T20 World Cup, there are only 4 players who have not got a chance to play a single match yet. Apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are also in the same situation. As spinners, Akshar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja are consistently managing to make a place in the playing eleven due to their batting. Now Rohit Sharma will have a chance to give a chance to the players sitting on the bench against Canada, so that if needed in the upcoming matches, they can come into the team and perform. However, this possibility does not seem right now. If there are some changes later, then that is a different matter.
There may be a change in West Indies
It is believed that India has given a chance to its best playing eleven in the first three matches. If the team is winning, then there is no reason to break the winning combination. Perhaps this is the reason why Shubman Gill and Avesh Khan, who had gone with this team as reserves, will be sent back to India in advance. The only change that seems possible is that if the pitch is spin friendly, then one fast bowler can be reduced and Kuldeep Yadav can be given a chance. This will also happen when the Super 8 matches will be held in the West Indies and the pitch will look a bit slow. That is, for now, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson will have to sit out and wait for their turn.
Probable playing XI of Team India against Canada: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dubey, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.
