WhatsApp is soon going to get a special feature like Instagram. This feature will give users the freedom to re-share their status. This feature has recently been seen in the beta version. WhatsApp continuously brings new features for its millions of users. Just like Meta’s photo and video sharing platform Instagram, users will be able to re-share their favorite status. This resharing feature has been available in Instagram for a long time.

Shortcut to reshare status

According to the report of WABetaInfo, this new feature of status resharing has been seen in WhatsApp’s Android beta version 2.24.1.6.4. This new feature of WhatsApp is currently in the development phase. With this feature, users will get a quick shortcut button to reshare the status in the app. While resharing the status, users can also get the option to update emojis and posts.

Currently, to share someone’s status on WhatsApp, one has to take a screenshot. After that, the status has to be uploaded again. However, it is not possible to re-share someone’s video or GIF status on WhatsApp. WhatsApp has now decided to solve this big problem of the users. With the addition of this feature, users will get a direct option to re-share anyone’s status.

New feature of Meta AI

Apart from this, many other new features are also being tested for WhatsApp. These features are being tested for both Android and iOS users. Apart from this, Meta AI model is also being tested for WhatsApp users. The company has recently announced the most advanced AI model.

Apart from this, the feature of file transfer without internet is also being tested in WhatsApp. This feature will give users the freedom to share photos, videos or any other document through the app without internet. This feature will work like the Airdrop feature used in Apple devices.
