This heart -wrenching case took place two years ago on this day i.e. 12 July 2022. A daughter -in -law hit her mother -in -law so brutally that she was sentenced to death. The case is from Atrala area of Rewa, where a daughter -in -law named Kanchan Kaul killed her mother -in -law Saroj Kaul with more than 95 knife wounds. The court sentenced Kanchan to death in this heinous murder case. However, the police had also accused Kanchan’s husband Balmiki Kaul in this case, but he acquitted her due to lack of evidence.
Details of the event
On 12 July 2022, 50 -year -old Saroj Kaul lived with her son and daughter -in -law in Atrala, Rewa. On the day of this house, there used to be Tu-Tu Main-Main between mother-in-law. Over time, these relationships had turned into enmity. Bahu Kanchan had raised so much hatred against her mother -in -law that she had decided to kill her.
Mother-in-law’s quarrel became fatal
On this day, there was a fight between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Kanchan then attacked his mother -in -law with a laugh in the kitchen. Kanchan attacked her mother -in -law’s body over 95, and continued to attack until her mother -in -law stopped. After this, Kanchan smiled sitting near the body and herself was soaked in blood. Kanchan’s husband Balmiki Kaul was not present at home during this incident.
Status after event
When Balmiki Kaul returned home, he saw his mother lying on a blood -stained floor. He could not understand whether his mother was alive or not, and immediately took her to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. Doctors at the hospital declared him dead. The incident was reported by a neighbor to the police, and the police immediately reached the spot.
Police action and arrest
Police arrested Kanchan and her husband Balmiki after a post -mortem report. Kanchan confessed his crime in strict police interrogation. He told that everything was fine before marriage, but gradually the dispute with his mother-in-law started growing. Finally, this hatred made him a murderer of his mother -in -law.
Court verdict
Two years later, the Rewa court sentenced Kanchan Kaul to death in the murder case. However, her husband Balmiki Kaul was acquitted by the court for not being proved.
